Post by admin » September 27th, 2010, 8:25 pm

The digital magazine SciDev reported, in the 27th of September  newsletter-update, that Philippines will follow in testing GM crops, in well defined locations of its territory.
Philippines since 2002 allow an alimentary use of GM crops to feed cattle and also people.
Lately the Philippines  agriculture secretary, Proceso Alcala, who is pushing for organic agriculture, said the GM cultivations will be stopped until their safety is not proved, but Philippines researchers said they are not meeting any ploblem with local Law on GM crops, in following their trial fields of GM 'Golden Rice'.
