No research has stated that coffee is carcinogenic, but according to more generic studies about carbohydrates we can assume that all the carbs that, when taken very high temperatures, develop some amount of acrylamide inside.
Acrylamide is carcinogenic substance.
So if we consider coffee can be carcinogenic, other cooked food could be carcinogenic as well (e.g. starchy foods).
