A report about the developings of the IPM (Integrated Pest Management) in California during the last years, has been published by the extension service of UC ANR.
The report 'Highlights 2013' contains informations about the research to prevent infestations of some leading crop pest like the vine mealybug (an imported pest) and some other native bad pests.
The 12-page report also contains articles about residential pests and about how pheromons ('pheromone mating disruption') are effective to prevent codling-moth infestationsin pears.
