Plant ID request

My neighbour has a beutifull garden and frequently likes to buy news plants. He likes to boast about it, but doesn't know his plants names. I have promised him to find by internet the solution of his last problem (he also does not like internet and other things...).
So, can anyone tell me what plant is this?

From the look of it ; a Tupil Tree Liriodendron tupilifera  At least that's what it appears to be from the photo.  Not 100% sure however.
