Reggio Emilia 		C.R.P.A. (Center for the Research in livestock Breeding): is one of the leading institution in italian livestock breeding research and about studies on environmental impacts of livestock breeeding.
In the "welcome" section of the english home page of CRPA you can find the presentation of the activity of this research institute and after this are the news about its activity.

Besides if you understand a few italian language it could be interesting to browse the large italian database of this web site dealing with lot of issues about livestock breeding and related environmental issues, as for example all about the IPPC (Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control) european rules (EC Directive 96/61).

CRPA is placed in Reggio Emilia, in the northern part of Italy (near Bologna); it is in the center of one of the most important areas of italian high quality agricolture. In the same region of Reggio Emilia are produced some italian most famous specialities like Parmesan cheese, hams, tortellini, wines and various sorts of fruits.

Sviluppo Italia Sviluppo Italia is an italian national agency whose purpose is to increase the investments in enterprise activities.
In this web site you can find informations on italian national legislation and subsidies available to all that aim to develop an enterprise activity in the industrial and agricultural sector.
The main informations actually available in the english web site of "Sviluppo Italia" deal with:

National Institute of Apiculture (INA) This is one of the leading italian web sites about bee-keeping.
INA is one of the research institutes In the english web site of INA you can find a presentation about its story and activity. This institute, from 2004, takes part in the CRA: the italian "Consiglio per la ricerca e la sperimentazione in agricoltura" (Agricultural Research and Experimentation Council) a research network depending from the directives of the "MIPAF", the Agriculture Italian Ministry.
