  • Pisa is an ancient italian town, it was one of the four italian "Sailor Republics" (with Venice, Genua and Amalfi), in that period Pisa was a very powerfull and rich town and with its rich liquid assets, also sciences and arts developed.
  • At Pisa lived Gallileo Gallilei who, first, from the top of the ancient tower, could admire the earth movig around the sun and study the gravity dropping objects. The ancient tower of Pisa was famous in the world as the "Torre Pendente" because of it is sloping along one of its sides.
  • In the neighborhoods of Pisa and Lucca and Pistoia (placed between Florence and Pisa) are some of the most important italian nurseries; here you can buy the best samples of mediterranean flora, and from here leave lot of plants directed to the north towns to fournish villas and gardens.
